Katherine Ara has built an extensive international client base which includes collectors, auction houses, and leading dealers. She has worked on paintings by Old Masters such as Holbein, Clouet, Rembrandt and Titian in addition to modern and contemporary artists including Picasso, Leger, Braque, Jenny Saville and Banksy.

She has built up a reputation for her sensitive and critical approach to restoration and conservation based on nearly twenty five years connoisseurship and practise. The studio aims through minimal intervention to restore the unity and integrity of each painting. In depth art historical and technical research is carried out in order to inform treatments, in addition to full written and photographic documentation for each painting.

The secure central London studio is well equipped to accommodate most easel paintings, with good storage facilities and a controlled environment.
